The link below is to an article that looks at the rise of ebook reading on smartphones – which frankly isn’t for me. I’m happy with my Kindle, though I wouldn’t be upset with a tablet either (which I don’t actually have at the moment). A phone is just too small for me.
The link below is to an article that takes a look at the latest trend of colouring books for adults.
The link below is to an article reporting on the findings of a poll that has found that the majority of Americans now read ebooks.
I have posted about some weird things in the past, but none of them compare to this (from what I remember) – enter the Compuglove. This has to be seen to be believed.
The link below is to an article that looks at the question of whether readers owe authors anything or not. I owe authors what it costs to bye their books/ebooks and that’s about it. Whatever I owed them has been paid for through the sales price of the book – I think that is the point of paying for a book. Any author that thinks more is owed than that has an inflated opinion of who they are.
Sure, readers may become fans of writers and admire certain authors, which I think is a totally different kettle of fish. I am a fan of a good number of authors and admire a number of them, but I don’t believe I owe them anything.
What do you think? Please respond to the poll I’ll post on this issue and/or leave your additional thoughts in the comments on that post. Look forward to hearing the responses.
