Greek Mythology: Guide To Ancient Greece, Titans, Greek Gods, Zeus and More! by Roy Jackson
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
There were a number of reasons I did not like this book. Among the chief reasons was that it was poorly written and edited. It was as though not much effort was put into writing the book. It was poorly constructed, repetitive and some sentences just failed to be completed. Very poor.

Hittites: The True and Surprising History Of The Ancient Hittite Empire by Patrick Auerbach
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This book serves as a reasonable introduction to the Hittites but is let down by its poorly edited and written content.

Auschwitz: A Short History by Ben Stevens
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A very brief introduction to the horror that was Auschwitz and those that ran it. There are no words. It is difficult to rate such books when the subject matter is so dreadful.

Origins of History: The War of the Spanish Succession by James Ker
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This was a very brief introduction to the complicated War of the Spanish Succession – it was really far too brief. I suppose it was useful to a point, but I would have preferred a larger work and treatment.
Finished Reading: John Calvin and His Passion for the Majesty of God, by John Piper
John Calvin by John Piper
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This book can be best described as a rudimentary introduction to the life and principles of John Calvin. With that in mind, it is good and useful as far as it goes. Hopefully, it will whet the appetite for further research of the greatest of the Reformers by readers of it.
